Dear Readers, Authors, and Reviewers,
We are pleased to announce that, starting from January 2025, Canon Journal of Medicine is adopting a Continuous Publication model.
This change marks a significant step forward in our mission to disseminate high-quality medical research more efficiently, transparently, and rapidly.
Under the continuous publication model:
Articles will be published immediately after acceptance, following peer review and final production.
There will be no need to wait for a full issue to be compiled.
Each article will be assigned a unique identifier (DOI) and be part of an annual volume (e.g., Volume 5 – 2025).
This format aligns with global best practices for scholarly publishing and enhances:
Speed: Faster access to new findings.
Visibility: Articles become discoverable and citable as soon as they are ready.
Author Experience: Greater convenience and faster dissemination of work.
Our rigorous peer-review process and commitment to quality remain unchanged.
We will continue to archive and index all articles in line with international standards.
The journal will still group articles into annual volumes, preserving citation continuity.
We believe this evolution will better serve the needs of our contributors and readership, and we invite you to submit your latest research today and benefit from this faster, more flexible publishing model.
Thank you for being part of the Canon Journal of Medicine community.
Sincerely,
The Editorial Team
Canon Journal of Medicine
